1. Overview
Weddingify delivers AI-generated digital products (wedding photographs). Because digital products cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense, this Refund Policy outlines the specific circumstances under which refunds or credits may be issued.
We are committed to customer satisfaction and handle every refund request fairly and transparently.
2. Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a Quality Satisfaction Guarantee. If the AI-generated images are significantly different from what was promised or contain obvious quality defects, we will work with you to resolve the issue through:
- Free Re-generation: We will re-generate your images with adjusted parameters at no additional cost.
- Alternative Destination: If the issue is destination-specific, we'll generate images at an alternative destination of your choice.
- Credit or Partial Refund: If re-generation does not resolve the issue, we may offer account credit or a partial refund.
3. Eligible Refund Cases
Full or partial refunds may be issued in the following cases:
- Technical Failure: The AI system failed to generate images and no output was delivered.
- Severe Quality Issues: Generated images contain significant distortions, artifacts, or errors that make them unusable (e.g., missing body parts, extreme facial distortion, completely wrong location).
- Duplicate Charges: You were charged multiple times for the same order.
- Unauthorized Transaction: A charge was made without your authorization (subject to verification).
- Service Unavailability: You purchased a package but the service was unavailable for an extended period (more than 7 days) preventing delivery.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will generally not be issued for:
- Subjective Dissatisfaction: "I don't like the style" or "It doesn't look exactly like a real photo" — AI-generated images are artistic interpretations and may differ from expectations.
- Low-Quality Source Photos: If the uploaded source photo is blurry, low-resolution, or poorly lit, the output quality will be affected. This is clearly stated before purchase.
- Downloaded Images: Once high-resolution images have been downloaded, the digital product is considered delivered.
- Change of Mind: Deciding you no longer want the images after generation has been completed.
- Subscription Renewals: If you did not cancel your subscription before the renewal date (you can cancel anytime before renewal).
5. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Submit a Request: Contact us at support@weddingify.com or through our Contact page within 14 days of your purchase.
- Provide Details: Include your order ID, email address, and a clear description of the issue. Screenshots of the problematic images are helpful.
- Review Period: Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days.
- Resolution: We will respond with our decision and, if approved, process the refund within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
6. Subscription Cancellation
For subscription-based plans:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- You retain access to all features until the end of the paid period.
- No pro-rated refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
- Previously generated images remain accessible in your account after cancellation.
7. Chargebacks & Disputes
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in:
- Suspension of your Weddingify account
- Loss of access to all generated images
- Additional fees as permitted by applicable law
We respond to all legitimate disputes promptly and fairly. In most cases, we can resolve issues faster than the chargeback process.
8. EU Consumer Rights
For users in the European Union, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU):
- You have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.
- However, by initiating AI photo generation, you acknowledge that the digital content delivery has begun and you waive your right of withdrawal for that specific order, as permitted under Article 16(m) of the Directive.
- Clear pre-purchase information about this waiver is provided at the point of sale.
